Data Deletion

You can remove your data from Utopy Platform at any time. This page explains how, including the data we obtain through Facebook.

Delete data from within the app

Signed-in users can delete individual contacts, conversations, and other records directly in the app. Workspace owners can remove team members and disconnect integrations from Settings.

Disconnect Facebook

To revoke Utopy’s access to your Facebook Pages and Lead Ads, go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find Utopy Platform, and remove it. This revokes our access immediately.

Disconnect WhatsApp

A connected WhatsApp number can be disconnected at any time from the WhatsApp Business app (Settings → Account → Business Platform → Disconnect) or from your workspace settings in Utopy. This stops Utopy from sending or receiving messages on that number. To also delete stored WhatsApp messages and contacts, use the in-app deletion above or request full deletion below.

Request full deletion

To have all of your data — including any leads imported from Facebook and the stored Page access token — permanently deleted from our systems, email wilcampg@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.

What we delete: your account and workspace, contacts and conversations, campaign and automation data, imported Facebook leads, and any stored Facebook Page access tokens.
